Famous for sparring with Trump, Kahn may just be an opportunist.

Khizr Khan, the Muslim man who has been sparring with Trump for over a week, has a financial agenda. Khan owns a law firm that specializes in Muslim immigration. He has deleted the firm's website from the internet.

Highlights

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Khizr Khan is a lawyer who helps rich Muslims buy their way into America, it is alleged. Kahn made headlines when he spoke at the Democratic convention and condemned Donald Trump. Kahn is a Gold Star Father, meaning his son was killed by a suicide bomber in Iraq in 2004. Kahn is also a Muslim and a lawyer.

According to several reports, Kahn owns a website and a law firm that helps wealthy Muslims come to America. A program, known as the EB5, helps rich Muslims pay to enter the United States. Because of the program's blatant nature, it has been blasted as corrupt by members of Congress.

The program is also a national security risk. Foreign operatives can use the program to gain entry to the U.S.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) explained, "The enforcement arm of the Department of Homeland Security wrote an internal memo that raises significant concerns about the program. One section of the memo outlines concerns that it could be used by Iranian operatives to infiltrate the United States. The memo identifies seven main areas of program vulnerability, including the export of sensitive technology, economic espionage, use by foreign government agents and terrorists, investment fraud, illicit finance and money laundering."

But Kahn wasn't just involved in getting Muslims into America. His ties to Hillary Clinton have also been exposed.

On his website, before it was deleted, Kahn told that he worked for the firm of Hogan & Hartson in Washington D.C., a major area firm. (The firm has since rebranded itself.) As a lawyer for the firm, he had connection with both Saudi Arabia and the Clinton Foundation. Saudi Arabia has retained the firm and paid $35 million to the Clinton Foundation. That firm also did Hillary Clinton's taxes.

Clinton has been suspected of accepting money from Saudi Arabia, a country with a terrible record on human rights, including women's rights. Trump has asked her to return the money, but Clinton has thus far refused.

Kahn is more than a man who lost a son to the horrors of war. He is a lawyer who worked for the Clinton family and did their taxes. He has made money off a controversial and corrupt government program. And when he received attention for his comments, he deleted his website to hide his past as a Clinton lackey.

We should consume his righteous indignation at Trump with a lot of salt.
