It doesn't look like much, but it sure works.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - In a video that captures the moment an ISIS general is eliminated, Russian soldiers deploy a robot "terminator."

The video does not show gunfire striking any target, and it only show the deployment of the robot, but it's still impressive.

Russian troops wait for the moment to attack, then they unleash their firepower to suppress the terrorists. As the terrorists duck and await their fate, a robot vehicle with a pair of rocket launching tubes, rolls into position.

Twin blasts are heard off camera, marking the end of an ISIS general's reign of terror.

Russians are directly confronting ISIS terrorists in Syria as part of their campaign to restore Syrian autonomy to the region. The United States is also fighting ISIS in Syria, but only indirectly through drone strikes and special operations missions.

The progress of ISIS in Syria and Iraq has been halted  by the efforts of world powers in the region. However, ISIS continues to disperse its forces and grow across much of the Middle East and Africa. Even if they are defeated in Syria and Iraq, they are likely to remain a global threat for years to come.
