Is the public being put in dark about Mt. St. Helens and other volcanoes as danger grows? Public now cut off from critical data

Why are public servants denying taxpayers critical information? Is it merely a glitch, or do they think we can't handle the truth?

Just as spectrograph activity of volcanoes Rainier, Baker, Newberry, Three Sisters, and Crater Lake in the Pacific Northwest began to increase on June 13, 2016, the website HTML display code was changed to blank any public viewing of the data.  This raises a question as to why the data is now hidden.  Spectrograph plots are critical to geologists in detecting any early activity awakening from volcanoes.

Highlights

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - At a critical time in monitoring signs of any early activity of the volcanoes at Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Hood, Mt. Rainier, and the rest of the Pacific Northwest volcanoes (Mt. Baker, Newberry, Crater Lake, Three Sisters), a key early warning indicator has been switched off.  This ultimately prevents the public from viewing the real-time data of the spectrograph plots of these volcanoes.  This condition continues as of this writing.

Believing that this was a possible "data glitch", some investigation work was done.

Surprisingly, there is no "data glitch".

The website has been intentionally changed to paint blanks for 24 hours a day.  This was done in a webpage software change by replacing the original data links, to display graphical plot data, with a  "transparent.png" blank image pointer (i.e. a blank image file).

These two images reveal the software coding changes that were done to cause the plots to be shut down to public view.  The "before" HTML software code image it shows the "src=" link to stored real-time spectrograph data to be displayed.  In the "after" code the "src=" is pointing to a blank image file instead of real data.  Thus, this blank image file paints all of the spectrograph screen white, with no actual data displayed.

If geologists believe there is an equipment malfunction, then a simple message could be displayed on each of the website pages.  But why paint blanks?

The seismograph data indicates that there are no anomalies of the source seismograph data streams - and communications links - to all the stations surrounding these volcanoes.  Thus, there should be a quality conversion of spectrograph information readily available in a real-time display.

It is possible that this "shutdown" may be incidental to an unusual jump in the intensity of the spectrographic energy observed at a number of seismographs monitoring these volcanoes.  This elevation of spectral information, for most of the volcanoes on June 13, 2016, became noticeable one day before all of the PNW volcano spectrograph data was shut down to the public.

Investigating a possible cause to this action, NOAA weather data was inspected to identify if there was any possible weather source to the elevated readings.
The NOAA weather shows very calm conditions for the volcanoes on June 12 and June 13.  So the elevation of spectral intensity could be eliminated from any possible weather inducement.

Another unusual feature is that the spectrograph plots show Mt. Baker and Mt. Rainier volcanoes, to the mid and north in Washington State, was having these elevated intensity levels on June 13, 2016, as compared to the day before on June 12, 2016.  So too, to the south, did Newberry, Crater Lake, and Three Sisters Volcanoes in Oregon follow the same elevated patterns from June 12 to June 13 just as Mt. Baker and Mt. Rainier.

Since all of the individual seismograph plot data channels display a uniqueness to their individual seismograph data source(s), this indicates that there is no anomaly that is common to all of the volcanoes from a malfunction perspective (i.e. software, processing, etc.).  That would leave a natural or nature based common denominator.  How could the earth cause this seemingly common increase in spectral energy for over 500 miles?

Here is a reference spectrograph plot of Crater Lake Volcano for the day of June 12, 2016.  This plot is from the hours of 18:00 to 24:00 UTC time, which is 7 hours ahead of Pacific Daylight Time. Each horizontal band represents the energy from near 1hz to 15hz (bottom to top of band) and the color represents the strength or intensity of the respective energy per frequency. Six bands represent the spectrographic energy for six unique monitoring seismograph stations at or near the volcano.  The horizontal width of the bands comprise 60 minutes in six 10 minute partitions.

In contrast, here is a spectrograph plot of Crater Lake Volcano for the day of June 13, 2016 - in the same comparable time window, but the following day.

Notice the stark increase in the green to yellow intensity from the seismograph to spectrograph plot bands compared to the June 12, 2016 plot.

As of this writing, all of the Pacific Northwest Volcanoes spectrograph data is not viewable by the public.   This includes Mt Baker, Mt Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Hood, Three Sisters, Newberry, and Crater Lake.

What is unexpected is that the geologists have been very good at providing information on their webpages regarding any notes pertaining to changes or other related information to their website data products and displays.  However, with no explanation, and a trick coding change in the HTML code, the questions become...

What is happening at these volcanoes?  Why are all of the spectrographs in the Tectonic and ETS groupings also painting blanks?

Why has there been an intentional blanking without a description or comment of this condition from the geologists?

Here is the complete list of spectrogram sources that have been switched off.
