I have found that Fr. Thomas Dubay's books on prayer to be really great, and EWTN has a wonderful 13 part audio series of his about Contemplation http://www.ewtn.com/vondemand/audio/seriessearchprog.asp?seriesID=7103&T1=dubay It is just excellent.
