St. Margaret of Cortona became to be known as the second Mary Magdalen. After living a sinful and scandalous life for nine years she was led by her dog to the slain body of her paramour. She had a miraculous conversion and ultimately ended her life as a true penitent and great Saint. Ave Maria!
