Saints Cyril and Methodius were two brothers who, although desiring to live in solitude with God, were called to become missionaries to the Slavic nations. With their great missionary zeal and prudence came the creation of the Cyrillic alphabet and translation of the liturgy into the vernacular. They have been given the title of co-patron saints of Europe. Ave Maria! Mass: Sts.
