Fr. Joachim on the first Sunday of Advent on the importance of the coming of Christ, not only for Christmas when we celebrate his coming two thousand years ago, but also for the final coming in the future. This puts the more penitential nature of the traditional Advent season, which is so foreign to our current consumer culture, more in perspective. Ave Maria!
