Like St. John the Baptist, we are all called to live lives contrary to the errors of the world motivated and strengthened by love of God. However, while St. John received special graces to preach against the errors of his days, he also put his deeds before his words like the saints of our day like St. Maximilian, Bl. Pope John Paul II, and Bl. Mother Teresa, and we too must first love God and live contrary to the errors of our age before anything else. May God give us the strength to do so, for we are lacking of ourselves. Ave Maria

Thank You Fr. Dominic Murphy and Catholic Online for this very timely homily. May God through Mary grant each of us, who call ourselves Catholic, the grace to be courageous in speaking out against the evils of abortion, homosexual unions, and all other forms of immorality that are destroying families all over.
