The next popes ideal profile began to take shape on Tuesday as cardinals held a second day of pre conclave talks a man with pastoral experience missionary energy and few ties to the Vaticans unruly government. The Vaticans spokesman discusses preparations for the conclave.

Let us pray that the New Pope will be wise like Solomon simple like St. Joseph; innocent like a dove and wise like a serpant; one who knows how systems and procedures work in various countries and know the varied culture prevalent in various continents; one who leads the folks to the path of spirituality and service and prayer.
