Gospel Reflections Mathew 5:17-19
Uploaded by on Mar 5, 2013
In todays Gospel we hear Jesus say that He did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. But how can that be? Isn't the Old Testament full of violence? Doesn't the law say to stone a woman if she is caught in adultery and other things that would seem to be contradictory with Jesus message of love? In this posting of Gospel Reflections I discuss Jesus as the fulfillment of the Old Testament and why the Christ as the finished painting of the Divine Artist is right in point to His being the fulfillment of the law.
