Father emphasizes Our Lord's words: we all must recognize our sins, repent of them, and do penance or we will perish. Father also relates the story of Father Steven Scheier who had accident, died, and underwent his judgement and condemnation to hell, but then our Lady intervened and acquired for him time to return, promising that, like the gardener in today's gospel, to give him special graces to see if then he would bear fruit. Let us turn to the Virgin Mary, and she will cultivate our deeds and sacrifices to bear fruit for eternal life. Ave Maria!
