On the Solemnity of Pentecost Fr. Dominic relates the coming of the Holy Spirit in the first Pentecost to the need to continually ask for the power of the Holy Spirit to revivify our faith and zeal in this world that is steeped in materialism and faithlessness. Specifically the Holy spirit will strengthen us in the Catholic essentials, including: 12 Articles Apostle's Creed Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit CCC 1832 7 Gifts of the Holy Spirit - wisdom, understanding, wonder and awe, right judgement, knowledge, courage, and reverence 12 Fruits of the Holy Spirit - charity, generosity, joy, gentleness, peace, faithfulness, patience, modesty, kindness, self-control, goodness, chastity Ave Maria!
