The Conversion of the Baptised
Uploaded by Dominicans Interactive on Jan 10, 2012
On May 1, 2011, Pope Benedict beatified his predecessor, John Paul II. John Paul II's legacy will be analysed by historians for years to come, but perhaps the best way we can honour his memory is to study and know his teachings. With this in mind, the topic of this symposium is 'The Conversion of the Baptised in the Thought of John Paul II'. Dr Carole Brown gave the lecture, based on her recent doctoral research. Dr Brown has been involved in many aspects of the 'New Evangelisation' in the US, Ireland and elsewhere. She was director of evangelistic outreach at Franciscan University, Steubenville and in more recent times has been an important figure in Youth 2000 Ireland, Kerygma Teams and Spirit Radio (www.spiritradio.ie).
