Fr. Angelo preaches on the irony of how Judas betrayed Him just as He was asking the apostles to love each other as He has loved them. This meant loving them them to the point of giving up His life for them. This sacrifice come about by the very lack of love of Judas. But even this great scandal in the infant Church was used to further the Divine plan as His death won the graces the Church needed to elect Matthias to replace Jesus and then go and teach all nations. Let us take courage, then, in this age of scandal. Ave Maria!
