In this episode Tom discusses Nashville numbering and its application to worship music. Nashville numbering is a numeric system applied to a song in a particular key. It begins with the 1 note/chord of a key and works its way up to 7 and begins again. Key of G, I-G, ii-Am, iii-Bm, IV-C, V-D, vi-Em, vii-F#dim *n.b. The lower case numbers refers to minor chords. The 7th chord is a diminshed chord.
