Fr. Ignatius preaches on the first reading from Paul's Epistle to the Romans which exhorts us to live according to the spirit as opposed to the flesh, that is, to live selflessly and to control inordinate desires. He compares this wisdom to that of modern psychology which calls this "repression". Ave Maria!
