Today is the Feast day of St. Bonaventure and Fr. Angelo preaches on how St Bonaventure combined true sanctity and high education and so he became the Seraphic Doctor in the footsteps of his spiritual father, St. Francis, the seraphic saint. St Bonaventure focused on the importance of the will in theology as opposed to St Thomas who focused on the intellect. He also worked to 'refound' the order when it was in danger of splitting.
