Father Matthias takes Our Lord's rebuke to St. Peter in today's Gospel as the starting point for explaining the duty and spiritual work of mercy of Fraternal Correction. He gives us the conditions for making one (the first being "Remove the beam from your own eye"), and then gives some examples of when a correction may be made, shouldn't be made, and, under the pain of grave sin, must be made. Ave Maria! Mass: Thursday 6th Week of Ordinary Time - Wkdy - Form: OF Readings: 1st: jam 2:1-9 Resp: psa 34:2-3, 4-5, 6-7 Gsp: mar 8:27-33
