NET Hosts The First Annual Faith Film Festival

BROOKLYN, NY (October 2, 2010) - On Oct 1st New Evangelization Television (NET) is honored to hosts the first ANNUAL Faith Film Festival, which is an extension of the their highly successful TV show of the same name. Being held at the Tribeca Screening room in New York City at 8pm, the sold out event will feature 6 of the best independent films of the year.

To mark this exciting first year of the festival, the event is being hosted by the dynamic talents of Lorena Jorge, host of the Faith Film Festival television show and David Bisono, host of NET's hit show Too Blessed to be Stressed. "This event is all about films that inspire, give hope and celebrate faith," said Lorena Jorge. "Unlike many other film festivals which focus on various mainstream topics, the goal of the Faith Film Festival to is to focus exclusively on topics that directly affect our daily lives, the Environment, Human Rights and of course Faith, believe it!" said David Bisono.

According to the organizers, the festival has received submissions from all over the world and is sure to be history in the making and a must attend event for any independent film buff. "Within a matter of a few short weeks of tickets being made available, we were sold out and telling interested parties to sign up for our standby tickets list just in case more tickets become available," said Gary Arkin, Marketing Director of NET. Arkin also added, "Based on the response we have received, we are already looking for a larger venue for next year."
