This Week on 'Catholic Radio 2.0!': St. Maximilian Kolbe's Marian Consecration / Catholic New Media

BROOKLYN, NY (APRIL 30, 2008) - Rector of Kolbe shrine, co-founder of Rosary Army join Commander Craig on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 5 p.m. Eastern on BlogTalkRadio

"Catholic Radio 2.0!" ushers in May, the month of our Blessed Mother Mary this Saturday, May 2, 2008, at 5 p.m. Eastern by examining the method of consecration to Mary proposed by St. Maximilian Kolbe when he established his Militia of the Immaculata, or the MI, for short.

Host Commander Craig, himself a Knight of the MI, will welcome Conventual Franciscan Fr. Steven McKinley, who is the Rector of the National Shrine of St. Maximilian in Libertyville, IL, and Guardian of the Conventual Franciscan community there. Fr. McKinley will describe the process of consecration, what follows afterward, and how consecration can bring you closer to Jesus Christ.

Also joing The Commander will be Greg Willits, co-founder (with his wife Jennifer) of the Rosary Army and Chief Operating Officer of SQPN, the Catholic podcasting network. Greg will describe plans for the Catholic New Media Celebration taking place June 22 in Atlanta, which will bring together bloggers, podcasters, and anyone else using the new media available through the Internet to bring the truths of the Catholic faith to the world.
