WATERTOWN, MA (February 26, 2014) Andy LaVallee will appear on The CatholicTV Network’s new series, Inter Nos on Friday, March 7, 2014.

Inter Nos is hosted by the CatholicTV Network president, Father Robert Reed. Fr. Reed engages guests in conversations about faith, work, and how they incorporate faith in their daily lives.

Since 1969, Andy LaVallee, has been working in the bakery industry and in 1977, he started LaVallee’s Bakery Distributors. LaVallee’s is New England’s premier provider of artisan breads and other bakery offerings to clients such as the InterContinental Boston, the Four Seasons, Boston College, and the Chateau Restaurants. Andy LaVallee is also the founder of Live the Fast.

Live the Fast is a Roman Catholic Apostolate that is centered on renewing the practice of prayer and fasting by providing nutritious fasting breads, educational resources on prayer and fasting and a prayer community.

“As we prepare our hearts for this Lenten season for Christ’s passion and resurrection, let us look at one of the practices of the early church”, says Andy LaVallee. “Fasting is referenced in the earliest pages of the Bible, as God’s people strive for holiness. Our faith teaches that by emptying ourselves, we will be in closer communion with God.”

LaVallee and his team desire to spread this practice to greater New England and across the United States. For more information visit www.LivetheFast.com.

Andy LaVallee’s interview with Father Robert Reed will air on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11AM ET. This episode of Inter Nos will rebroadcast at 8PM Friday evening, Monday at 12:30AM, and Wednesday at 1:30PM.
