The mind and body both share a certain chemistry; and poor physical health may result from untreated, anxiety and depression, which put extra wear and tear on the central nervous system, the immune system, and the cardiac system, among other things, while prayer has the opposite effect. This book goes a long way to show that a hopeful attitude, especially when combined with prayer, can promote healing in patients so they can return to their optimal level of wellness.
