ROMA (ACI/EWTN Noticias) - La imagen fue utilizada para el evento "Cineforum Homosexualidad y Religi贸n", organizado por el Colectivo Gay Estatal Milano, que se define como "un grupo pol铆tico y no partidista que re煤ne a estudiantes LGBT (lesbianas, gay, bisexuales y transexuales) de la Universidad de Mil谩n".

En la foto retocada se exhibe a Benedicto XVI maquillado de forma femenina, con las mejillas, las cejas, las pesta艅as y los labios pintados.

Ante las cr铆ticas, el grupo organizador dijo "atenci贸n a la censura. El verdadero problema no es la provocaci贸n sino la homofobia".

Por su parte, el diario italiano Il Giornale critic贸 la publicidad del grupo gay, asegurando que se trata de una obra "blasfema y una ofensa para toda la comunidad cat贸lica", que se ha realizado con "dinero p煤blico del estado", refiri茅ndose al car谩cter estatal de la Universidad de Mil谩n.

Seg煤n denunci贸 el Doctor en Derecho Tommaso Scandroglio, en una columna publicada en La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana, el colectivo homosexual recibi贸 de la Universidad Estatal de Mil谩n 4 mil euros (aproximadamente 5 400 d贸lares), para la realizaci贸n de este evento.

Andrea Nicolussi, jurista de la Universidad Cat贸lica de Mil谩n, indic贸 que si bien no se sinti贸 "escandalizado" por la publicidad del grupo gay, esta es "una provocaci贸n parad贸jica, ya que quien combate la discriminaci贸n est谩, a su vez, discriminando".

"Como cat贸lico, me ha sorprendido el hecho de que el Papa Em茅rito, como ser humano, ha sido tratado mal. Es una persona anciana que ha escogido retirarse de la vida p煤blica y su voluntad ha sido violada", dijo.

El pol铆tico italiano Aldo Brandirali calific贸 la publicidad del evento gay como "un ejemplo del odio religioso" y un vilipendio del "ex jefe de un Estado extranjero".

"Para estos grupos que promueven la ideolog铆a de g茅nero el derecho a la homosexualidad se convierte en derecho a la cristianofobia", critic贸.
