La Arquidiócesis de Panamá (Panamá), convocó "a todo el pueblo panameńo" a participar el 29 de diciembre en la Caminata por la Familia, "movilización ciudadana que será una expresión del compromiso por celebrar y defender la familia, célula vital e irremplazable para el desarrollo de nuestro país".

PANAMÁ (ACI/EWTN Noticias) - "Existe una preocupación por los graves problemas que vive la familia panameńa; este es el momento de tomar acciones concretas para ir cambiando esta realidad. Por ello, la Iglesia Católica y la Alianza Panameńa por la vida y la Familia invitan a las organizaciones de la sociedad civil, a las diferentes confesiones religiosas, a instituciones públicas y privadas a participar de esta Caminata por la Familia", informó en una nota de prensa, en la que anunció que el evento se realizará a nivel nacional.

Los convocantes seńalaron que la caminata es también un respaldo a los cinco "principios no negociables, en aras de la protección y el bienestar de nuestra familia", como son el respeto a la vida humana "desde su concepción hasta su muerte natural", el reconocimiento del matrimonio como la unión entre un hombre y una mujer, la libertad de los padres de educar a sus hijos en sus valores, el derecho a la libertad de religión y la promoción del bien común en todas sus formas.

En el caso de la Arquidiócesis de Panamá, la Caminata por la Familia comenzará con la Misa a las 8:00 a.m. desde la iglesia María Auxiliadora del Instituto Técnico Don Bosco. La Eucaristía será presidida por el Nuncio Apostólico, Mons. Andrés Carrascosa Coso.
