The genius secret why Trump is stacking his cabinet with pro-business staff

Our nation is designed to work for business, not against it.

Donald Trump is facing a lot of criticism over his cabinet choices. He has repeatedly appointed Washington D.C. outsiders to posts within his administration based on their business expertise. This has left politicians upset, leveling accusations that Trump does not know what he is doing. Except that he does know what he's doing, and he's a genius for doing it.

Highlights

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) -- When the founding fathers established our Republic, they made certain to keep the new government out of the affairs of business, after all most of the founding fathers were businessmen themselves. Many were farmers, or merchants, and they drew heavily on their experience as British subjects. In the decades leading up to the American Revolution, the British government interfered ever mode increasingly into their affairs, and they did not like it.

Trump's cabinet is anti-establishment. It includes wealthy businesspeople, Washington outsiders, and even people opposed to the departments they will soon direct. It's a demolition approach to government, tear down the old, build the new.

The result of this approach will be a cabinet that is both loyal to Trump and will bring new ideas to old agencies. The Environmental Protection Agency, Health and Human Services, and the Education Department will be headed by people wo have significantly different opinions than their predecessors. Each of the people at the helm of these departments has experience with them, usually fighting them.

This is a departure from previous practice where many cabinet positions are filled by people who have worked within the departments under previous administrations.

The new leaders will probably extend Trump's vision of running their departments like businesses. Trump has already pointed out cases where government is overspending, or pursuing strategies that he feels are not in the best interests of the American people.

Few of the founding fathers were politicians. We are a nation engineered by businessmen with the intent of facilitating business. Business is the backbone of the middle class. As business thrives, so too do good-paying jobs. Opportunities increase.

Our nation was designed to facilitate business, not work against it.

Trump's approach is virtually unprecedented, which is why it's being questioned. But it is rooted in the understanding that America was established by businessmen with the aim of creating a safe space for business to flourish without oppressive government influence. Most of the past century, we have seen business slowly die as the government intensifies its grip on business, demanding a cut of the profits despite doing virtually nothing to justify the expense.

Hopefully, the Trump administration ends this pattern of absurdity and the nation prospers once again, as it did under the leadership of our founding fathers.
