El Papa Francisco don贸 una motocicleta Harley Davidson que recibi贸 de regalo unos meses atr谩s a Caritas Roma para que sea destinado al albergue Don Luigi di Lietro, y tambi茅n envi贸 200 euros a una se艅ora de 80 a艅os luego de leer la carta que esta le escribi贸 cont谩ndole sus problemas.

VATICANO (ACI) - El Albergue que recibir谩 la moto est谩 ubicado al centro de Roma y da refugio y atiende diariamente en su comedor a m谩s de mil necesitados.

La motocicletas de la marca estadounidense fue un obsequio por el 110 aniversario de Harley Davidson. Adem谩s del 13 al 16 de junio pasado se reunieron en Roma unos 35 mil motociclistas bajo el lema "Dios viaja en Harley por las calles de la Ciudad Eterna". En esa ocasi贸n el Papa los bendijo y salud贸 de manera especial en el 脕ngelus dominical.

Por otro lado, la Secretar铆a de Estado Vaticano envi贸, a pedido del Papa, un cheque de 200 euros a una anciana de Marghera (noreste de Italia) luego que el Santo Padre leyera la carta que le enviara el 10 de septiembre, cont谩ndole que le hab铆an robado su cartera con 54 euros que hab铆a pedido prestado.

El robo se produjo cuando la mujer se dirig铆a al Hospital Dell'Angelo para visitar a su esposo gravemente enfermo.

Seg煤n informa IlGazzettino.it, la carta con el cheque timbrado el 5 de octubre fue enviada al P谩rroco de la casa Santos Gervasio y Protasio en Carpenedo, P. Gianni Antoniazzi,聽 junto a una copia de la carta de la se艅ora.

En la misiva del Vaticano, se le pide al sacerdote que, seg煤n la voluntad del Pont铆fice, se haga entrega a la se艅ora el importe consignado y que le haga llegar la bendici贸n Apost贸lica para ella y su esposo.

El P. Antoniazzi dijo a la prensa italiana que experiment贸 "una gran emoci贸n cuando he visto la carta. El Papa Francisco no s贸lo sabe estar entre la gente comunicando de la mejor manera e infundiendo su esperanza sino que tambi茅n se f铆a de las peticiones que le llegan".
