VATICANO (ACI/EWTN Noticias) - El Santo Padre pregunt贸 "nosotros, 偶c贸mo oramos? Oramos as铆 nom谩s por costumbre, piadosamente pero tranquilos, por costumbre, 偶o con coraje nos ponemos ante el Se艅or para pedir la gracia, para pedir por aquello por lo que oramos?".

"El valor en la oraci贸n: una oraci贸n que no sea valiente no es una verdadera oraci贸n. El coraje de tener confianza que el Se艅or nos escuche, el coraje de llamar a la puerta. El Se艅or lo dice: 'Porque todo el que pide recibe, el que busca encuentra y al que llama, se le abrir谩'. Pero es necesario pedir, buscar y llamar".

"Nosotros, 偶nos involucramos en la oraci贸n? 偶Sabemos llamar al coraz贸n de Dios?".

El Papa indic贸 que "en el Evangelio, Jes煤s dice: 'Si ustedes, que son malos, saben dar cosas buenas a sus hijos, cu谩nto m谩s el Padre del cielo dar谩 el Esp铆ritu Santo a aquellos que se lo pidan'", lo cual "es una gran cosa".

"Cuando oramos con valor, el Se艅or nos da la gracia, y tambi茅n se da a s铆 mismo en la gracia: el Esp铆ritu Santo, es decir, 藝a s铆 mismo! El Se艅or nunca da o manda una gracia por correo. 藝Nunca! 藝la lleva 脡l! 藝Es 脡l, la gracia!".

"Lo que nosotros pedimos es un poco como el papel en el que se envuelve la gracia. Pero la verdadera gracia es 脡l que viene tray茅ndomela. Es 脡l. Nuestra oraci贸n, si es valiente, recibe aquello que pedimos, pero tambi茅n aquello que es m谩s importante: el Se艅or".

El Papa se艅al贸 que a veces "pedimos la gracia, y no nos atrevemos a decir: 'Pero tr谩ela t煤'. Sabemos que la gracia es siempre tra铆da por 脡l: es 脡l quien viene y nos la da".

"Nosotros damos la fea impresi贸n de tomar la gracia y no reconocer a quien nos la trae, aquel que nos la da: el Se艅or. Que el Se艅or nos conceda la gracia de darse a s铆 mismo, siempre, en cada gracia. Y que nosotros lo reconozcamos, y que lo alabemos como aquellos enfermos sanados del Evangelio. Porque en aquella gracia hemos encontrado al Se艅or".
