LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Judging by the Chinese box office, the public there just is not into serious, artistic films. The lowest sale for a revenue-sharing movie was the $110,000 for "Mandela."

In China, only 34 films can be imported outside of the country. Chinese filmgoers must enjoy U.S. product, as there was a 60 percent increase in box office for overseas quota movies.

"Transformers 4: Age of Extinction" showed its strength overseas by becoming China

"Transformers 4: Age of Extinction" showed its strength overseas by becoming China's most popular foreign film.
