Beautiful Feet: Beloved Priests Attacked By Demons in Broad Daylight
While the demons of hell attempt to knock the feet out from under priests in Rockford, IL through attack, they persist in bringing the Gospel even into the satanic abortion trenches. Their revulsion for anything as holy as a Catholic priest is evident in their bizarre window displays, a few of which reportedly include a nun in a coffin, a rubber chicken hanging from a noose, and a picture of Jesus flipping the bird that says, "Even Jesus Hates You."
The priests in Rockford quietly stand vigil in every type of inclement weather with open coats, so that the women seeking an abortion are aware that a priest is present in his flowing, seemingly flaming cassock.
According to tradition, typical demonic responses during exorcism include foul language, references to sexual perversion, deceit, and profuse blasphemy. Similarly, prayers for exorcism outside the Northern Illinois Women's Center abortuary in Rockford have provoked just such a reaction from pro-abortion workers and activists within.
"Not Against Flesh and Blood, But the Rulers of Darkness"
Their revulsion for anything as holy as a Catholic priest is evident in their bizarre window displays, a few of which reportedly include a nun in a coffin, a rubber chicken hanging from a noose, and a picture of Jesus flipping the bird that says, "Even Jesus Hates You."
The beautiful thing about this ongoing battle is that the number of abortions has reportedly been cut by half at this abortuary since the spiritual power of the Jesus was first unleashed through the prayers of the priests who have prayed outside since September of 2008. At least, the abortuary seems to blame them and the special prayers of the Church.
Just this past Friday someone inside the building displayed a sign in reaction to a priest and seminarian praying outside that said "F.... Your Perverted Priests." They have endured personal insults and vandalism of their vehicles. One priest's car was egged, another discovered a hand-written sign that read "I Rape Children" taped to his car.
Another hand-written sign displayed prominently outside the main entrance to the clinic read "Stop the Perverted Catholic Priests from Raping Young Boys." In convoluted pro-abortion logic, it seems that somehow child abuse is bad, but abortion is good.
The priests in Rockford quietly stand vigil in every type of inclement weather with open coats, so that the women seeking an abortion are aware that a priest is present in his flowing, seemingly flaming cassock.
Invoking the matchless power of Jesus Christ through the Church, they make sweeping Signs of the Cross and pray that the abortion mill and the whole earth will be cleansed from the evil that surrounds and drives abortion.
Beautiful Victories
The Rockford mill hates and attacks the priests outside so viciously because they, and priests and pro-life workers like them all over the country, have saved countless lives and souls.
When they first began their vigils, it was reported that the pro-life sidewalk counselors in Rockford noticed an immediate, dramatic decline in the numbers of mothers who go there for abortions, a distinct rise in the numbers of mothers who choose life outside the mill, and the correlation of these changes with the beginning of the displays of blasphemy from inside.
The response at this abortuary has been particularly virulent, but priests are praying outside them all over the country through Priests for Life, in which priests and parishes are paired with specific abortuaries.
It is to St. John Vianney that our beloved priests are entrusted, and he said it so eloquently: "Were we to fully realize what a priest is on earth, we would die: not of fright, but of love. It is he who opens the door: he is the steward of the good Lord; the administrator of his goods. Leave a parish for twenty years without a priest, and they will end by worshiping the beasts there. The priest is not a priest for himself, he is a priest for you."
Because they are priests, they take the good news, uniquely, even into these demonic abortion trenches. As the Year for Priests draws to a close, may we bathe their dusty, tired, beautiful feet with the anointing of our prayers. Amen.

The headlines read that "priests are attacked by demons in broad daylight." The article does not contain the description of any such attacks. The nasty signs and rubber chicken in a noose are not really demonic attacks are they? There is no evidence to suggest that demons or angels are any way related to this story, nor that they exist at all. People hung the signs and vandalized the cars.
Why would the spiritual power of Jesus only reduce abortions by 50%? It seems to me that if Jesus were to intervene here in human affairs that he would reduce them by 100%. Why have an exorcism to change the mind of the pregnant woman, when you could change the mind of the doctor to no longer perform abortions?
From reading your comments, I believe that you are sincere in your beliefs. I just do not understand them. Please return the favor and believe that I am also sincere in mine.
All Glory to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Thanks be to God for this wonderful article. Yes prayer is very powerful , we Catholics should not get tired on doing so. Let us persevere in prayer. Why evil continue to prosper in some areas here on earth? because the good people didn't do something. Kudos to the holy priest who stand for what is right. God bless the work of your hands.
Powerful as Satan is, seductive as his kingdom maybe, dangerous as his stratagems are, we can successfully resist him. He has already lost the war. If we will stand on the name, the cross, and the blood of Jesus Christ.( by Fr. Michael Scanlan).
our prayers go with the priest. may His strength continue to empower them in their selfless work.Amen
and i say again that the devil has become so hateful and violent but my fathers in faith hold the forth, hold the forth.
I was very surprised to learn that this very interesting anti-abortion campaign is being done by Catholic priests...I had never heard about it and IŽll be praying for these priests who have shown a lot of courage..I congratulate you for letting the world know about their outstanding social work...good for them and good for the women who didnšt have an abortion thanks to their prayers...God bless you all
Thank you Jesus for these brave priests. May God ciontinue to strengthen them and touch all those who see, hear, read of them. Will keep them in my prayers.
Abortion is an evil that should be outlawed. We constantly see documentaries on the slaugther and abuse of animals. If the media would show the real details of an abortion and its consequences to the mother years later, maybe people would begin to fight for its removal. I myself had an abortion as a young girl. When abortion first became legal. I was very ignorant to what really took place, but now 36 years later I'am still grieving for my baby and tell my baby how sorry I'am. I wish I never had a choice. I was very lustfull and that was my own selfish obsession my and his. Now thank God he has delievered me and I have 3 beautiful daughters. But I will never forget the first.

Im going to ask everyone and out there to pray for you.
Thank you for your witness to we Catholics even though you arent Catholic. Your still one of our sisters.
If you get a chance and you have the Blessed Sacracment exposed at one of your local churches please go. Also you can say a prayer. You dont have to be Catholic to say a prayer to our Lord. He is there and He will help you.
Also if you have EWTN on your local cable station turn it on at 3:00PM if you can.
If you cannot you can watch it on the the internet. EWTN.com. If your at work and online and its ok check it out and watch it if possible.
Also in your area if you have a good old fashioned loving priest who knows about these things have a chat with Father and see what he has to say.
Peace and praying for you. Tell him a friend and sister of all fellow Catholics and priests at Catholic News Online sent you to him.
To Rafaelmarie: Yes abortion is murder and a very great evil, but so is molesting children. I realize that only a small number of priests are guilty of molesting children, but these priests tarnish the reputation of all of the good priests who are true to their vocation. Abortion is murdering a life, the sexual abuse of children is murdering a soul. The aftereffects of childhood sexual abuse last a lifetime causing drug addiction, alcoholism, eating disorders, suicides, self mutilation, flashbacks, PTSD, and a host of other horrors. While we pray for our Catholic Church and our Catholic faith, let us strengthen our Church by ridding it of the "trusted" servants who have hurt our children. Life is sacred in the womb, and without!
Where would we be without our priests? They are protected, but let us offer our prayers for them as well. Demons be gone!
