Fr. Elias on the life of St Louis of Toulouse, France who was son of a King but renounced the crown, was appointed a Bishop by the pope at a very young age, took the Franciscan habit and before his death just a few years later gained an extraordinary reputation of sanctity. Father relates this to the parable of the rich young man in today's Gospel and how St. Louis succeeded where the rich young man failed and how it is important to discern where our real treasures are in our lives.
