Fr. Elias preaches on the life of St. Teresa Benedicta who is co-patroness of Europe along with St. Catherine of Sienna and St. Bridgette of Sweden. She was already well known by her secular name Edith Stein as an agnostic philosopher and a Jew when she converted to Catholicism after reading St Theresa of Avila and entered a Carmelite Monastery. She was taken away by the Nazi's after the Church in Holland spoke up against the Nazis. She was martyred in a concentration camp. Ave Maria!     The best homily I have heard on St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. Also, I have tried to read the Science of the Cross, and this was an excellent explanation of the Science of the Cross.
