A beautiful and haunting lullaby from Mary to the baby Jesus. Psalm 72, the Epiphany psalm, is set to music with text from the Lectionary for Mass. It is appropriate for use as a liturgical psalm setting with congregational responses. Performed by Belamore, this psalm is one of a brand new complete collection of seasonal psalms to be released in February of 2008 at NewCatholicMusic.com. All psalms are available individually or as a collection with complete sheet music arrangements and reference recordings and are downloadable upon purchase. We do not believe in altering the lectionary text. The psalm text is most beautiful and liturgically appropriate when sung as set forth in the lectionary.
