Saint Stanislaus Kosta Church
Uploaded by on Jan 21, 2013
I invite you to witness the beautiful stone and glass Polish Cathedral, Saint Stanislaus Kosta, in the Strip District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was consecrated in 1892. Interior murals were added by the Italian Artist, Vincent Scatena, for the Golden Jubilee of the Parish in 1925. The future Pope, John Paul II, visited this church in 1969 and remarked how beautiful the church was and how it reminded him of the churches in Poland. I hope this impressionistic video gives you a time for contemplation and reflection.
