This was a beautiful homily. When my mother died at age 85, she was ready to go, and her death was very peaceful and heroic. My son died in a car accident when he was 19, and this homily gives me lots of hope about him. I am in the second watch of my life, and I am now reminded to continue to grow in my faith (especially in this year of faith) and to be ready. Thank-you for this homily.
