December 11 to 12 in Mexico throughout the day of the Virgin Guadalupe From all over Mexico, people on bicycles, or walk to the Iglesia de Guadalupe Church on plaza San Cristobal Church in Merida, Yucatan. Many leave for weeks in advance to be on time for this day to celebrate and get a blessing from the priest. Previously arrived they sleep in sleeping bags in church and in the park. Busy that it was almost impossible to make good pictures. What an experience and what a party. Catholic or not, you are literally sucked. The next day it's like you're from a different world. A fantastic and emotional experience!
