Benedict XVI has again asked for an ethical foundation for politics and the economy. In his address to the new ambassador ofHungary to the Holy See, J�nos Balassa, the Pope noted that policies must safeguard the fundamental role of thefamily in society, which is at the heart of every culture and everynation. The state can support the family by ensuring parents theright of choice for the education of their children, thanks to the presence ofCatholic educational institutions. The Pope also expressed that thepath of dialogue is the privileged means to address and resolve anypending issue in relations between the Church and state within the country.
