As a member of St. Rita parish in Bellmawr, NJ, Fr Carmel's last assignment, I would like to say what a shame it is that such a spiritual, friendly, wonderful, unforgettable priest had his parish of St Rita closed by the diocese and he has not been assigned to another congregation. This is like a slap to his face by the Bishop and the diocese of Camden. With all the shortages of priests, how horrible is it that such a spirit filled loving priest has not been given an assignment. There are many people out there who really need such a kind and wonderful and spiritual, dedicated priest.

I am so disappointed in this Bishop and his coterie of priests in the chancery and the diocese for their treatment of this wonderful priest!! Not to mention closing our wonderful spirit filled, faithful parish. A parish in financially good shape, by the way.
