Father Maximilian explores the theme of fasting in today's liturgy. Christian fasting is not merely eating less, but is a process of conversion, of eliminating vices and practicing their contrary virtues. Let us ask ourselves this Lent, what sins and faults to I fall into and need to repent of, how can I grow closer to God, and then do it. Ave Maria! Mass: Friday after Ash Wednesday - Wkdy - Form: OF Readings: 1st: isa 58:1-9 Resp: psa 51:3-4, 5-6, 18-19 Gsp: mat 9:14-15
