It was a nice summer day so I decided to take a walk to the park downtown. I lived about 1 mile from it and took my usual route past the Cathedral. I was near the Cathedral when I saw a very frightening, intoxicated man walking towards me. A lady had walked past him and he tried grabbing her but she ran across the street. He was walking very fast towards me, waving his arms all around and yelling. I decided to cross the street but then noticed he started mirroring me and also tried to cross. So I prayed.."Please God, please protect me: and kept walking. As he passed me he just growled and kept walking, never once trying to grab me or even said anything. I then looked up and saw a security guard standing at the side of a public parking lot a few feet away. He smiled at me, nodded and said have a nice day. I have walked that route so many times and had never seen a security guard at that lot. As I got to the corner I turned around and the guard was gone. I continue to walk that route and have never seen this guard or any guard at that location again. I'm convinced it was a guardian angel from God who protected me from the man. I also don't think it was a coincidence that it happened in front of the Cathedral.
Some may never see with earthly eyes these heavenly beings or know that they exist. Many are unaware of the numerous ways they have protected and guided us. We would like to share with you the stories of people who take pleasure in expressing how real angels are.
