St. Catherine of Siena Academy Appoints New Board Member

Wixom, MI (November 15, 2010) - St. Catherine of Siena Academy, an all girls' Catholic High School, announces the appointment of Monsignor Robert J. McClory to its Foundation Board of Directors. Monsignor McClory is the Moderator of the Curia and Vicar General, or "Chief of Staff" for Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron in the Archdiocese of Detroit, and he is Assistant Professor of Canon Law at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit.

Monsignor McClory earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Communications from Oakland University, a Master of Public Administration degree from Columbia University, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Sacred Theology degree from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and a Licentiate in Canon Law degree from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, also in Rome. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1999 and was given the title of "Monsignor" and made a Chaplain to His Holiness by Pope Benedict XVI in 2005.

Monsignor McClory joins a seven-member board. In addition to Msgr. McClory, the members of the St. Catherine of Siena Foundation Board are Patrick O'Meara, Chairman, Deacon Gerald Brennan, Michael Dewan, Rev. Richard J. Elmer, CSB, Dr. Mary Healy, Monsignor Charles Kosanke, and Edward Turek.
