Board of Governors offers relief to current and prospective students

SANTA PAULA, CA (November 7, 2009) - Thomas Aquinas College’s Board of Governors recently announced a tuition freeze for the 2010-2011 academic year. The decision was made in order to help alleviate financial burdens on students and their parents as a result of the current economic recession.

Peter DeLuca, Interim President of Thomas Aquinas College, said that it is important to allow a quality education to remain within reach of motivated students. “In the midst of trying economic times, we are determined not to make college any more difficult for our undergraduates,” said DeLuca. “We are committed to being good stewards of the funds our wonderful benefactors give us for the benefit of our students.”

Thomas Aquinas College was recently ranked one of the top 13 colleges in the country on the “Financial Aid Honor Roll” by The Princeton Review, and received the highest rating (99) in that category. Kiplinger’s also ranks the college as one of the country’s “Top Values” in higher education.
