EWTN Hosts the Canons Regular of St John Cantius

CHICAGO, IL (MAY 15, 2009) - EWTN has invited the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius (based in the Archdiocese of Chicago) to visit the EWTN Station the first week of July as well as the Poor Clare Nuns at Hanceville, AL, in order to celebrate the Mass of the Roman Rite in both the Ordinary and Extraordinary Forms.

Tuesday, June 30 (not televised)
Latin Mass (Ordinary Form) at 7am at the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament, Hanceville, AL (residence of Mother Angelica and the Poor Clare Nuns)
Wednesday, July 1 (televised on EWTN - broadcast live at 7 am CST)
Pontifical Latin High Mass (Extraordinary Form) at 7am at the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament, Hanceville, AL (residence of Mother Angelica and the Poor Clare Nuns). Here the schola of the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius and the choir of the Poor Clare Nuns. Mass will be offered by Bishop Joseph Perry with the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius.
Wednesday, July 1 (televised live on EWTN at 7 pm CST)
Fr Phillips will be interviewed about the restoration of the sacred at St. John Cantius by Fr. Joseph Wolfe, MFVA on EWTN LIVE. A live studio audience will attend this interview at EWTN studios in Irondale. Tickets are still available.
