(OKLAHOMA CITY, OK) Rev. Ralph DiOrio proclaims, "Surrender your hearts, God will accomplish the rest." Blessed in 1976 with the charisma of healing, Rev. DiOrio has dedicated his life to helping Christian men and women surrender their hearts and, through his gift, letting God accomplish the rest. Healing services led by Rev. DiOrio have attracted hundreds of thousands of people, drawing a crowd of 250,000 for a single healing service in India. Rev. DiOrio brings his ministry to the Cox Convention Center on October 15, 2006 for The Eucharistic Healing Service from 1-5 PM. Most Reverend Eusebius J. Beltran, Archbishop of Oklahoma City, will be the principal celebrant for the opening Mass at 1 PM. The event is free to the public.
Fr. DiOrio says that God chooses many ways to convey His love, and countless people have witnessed the emotional, spiritual and physical healings that occur through these services. It has been said that Father DiOrio is not the type to give empty encouragement: the works performed by extension of Fr. DiOrio's gift demonstrate how God imparts His healing grace through the Holy Spirit. Fr. DiOrio's ministry is the embodiment of Mark 10:27: "For human beings it is impossible, but not for God. All things are possible for God."
Father Joe Arledge, Pastor of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Altus, Oklahoma is a member of the group bringing Father DiOrio to Oklahoma City. "I went to see Fr. DiOrio in 1984 in Corpus Christi, Texas," says Fr. Arledge, "and I was awestruck with the movement of God's Holy Spirit at the Healing Service. During that event, my father was healed of some physiological pain and discomfort - and I personally experienced God in a radical way." Fr. Arledge saw Fr. DiOrio again in 1987 when he came to Oklahoma City. During that event, Fr. DiOrio had the word of knowledge about a young man being called to the priesthood. As it turned out, that prophetic utterance was for Joe Arledge, then a young man still searching for his vocation. After both experiences with Fr. DiOrio, Fr. Joe, as he is affectionately known, believes that all Christians would benefit from attending this Healing Service: "May God be praised, honored and adored now and forevermore!"
Rev. Ralph DiOrio preaches and teaches the mercy and the love of Jesus Christ, a requirement for his ministry of evangelization and healing. A faithful adherent to the sound theology of the Catholic Church, Father DiOrio serves under the obedient and prudent supervision of the local bishops of Worcester, Massachusetts and under the overseeing general authorization of the Holy See's officials.
Donations that help to make this event at the Cox Center free to all are now being accepted online. Go to www.diorio2006inok.com and click on "Donations" to contribute using your credit card or Pay Pal account. Checks are also graciously received, payable to "Fr. DiOrio Fund" and sent in care of: Kathy Vance, 2101 NW 20th, Oklahoma City, OK 73107.
The Eucharistic Healing Service is sponsored by the Fr. DiOrio Committee of Oklahoma City. There is no cost to attend - a free will offering will be taken at the Healing Service.
