ST. MAGDALEN PARISH TO HOST ACCALIMED THEOLOGIAN DAVID HAJDUK
TWO SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS: DISCOVER "THE MORAL LIFE"

FLEMINGTON, N.J. - The Theology of the Body is Pope John Paul II's integrated vision of the human person - body, soul and spirit. Through this encyclical the Holy Father explains how the physical human body has a specific meaning and is capable of revealing answers regarding fundamental questions about ourselves and the purpose of our lives.

St. Magdalen de Pazzi R.C. Church in Flemington, N.J. welcomes acclaimed theologian, writer, and singer David Hajduk, M.A. for two unique presentations on living "The Moral Life". With a foundation based on many of Pope John Paul II teachings, each presentation will offer a unique perspective on love, sexual morality, and ideas for living the Ten Commandments.

The presentations will be made on Wednesday, February 8 and Wednesday, February 15, each at 7:30 p.m. in the church. This event is free and open to the public. For program details contact the St. Magdalen de Pazzi parish office at (908) 782-2922.

With over fifteen years experience in religious education and youth ministry, David Hajduk has a keen awareness of the challenges facing young people in the 21st century. Hajduk presents the Church's teaching in a fresh, engaging and inspirational way, and has become a highly sought-after speaker on Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body.

An accomplished guitarist and vocalist, Hajduk's moving original songs on the themes of the Theology of the Body further the power of his gifted speaking. He has written articles for The Catholic Faith and The Homiletic & Pastoral Review. Hajduk's book God's Plan for Your Life, Live, Marriage & Sex is anticipated for Spring 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Systematic Theology from Seton Hall University.
