VANCOUVER, WA (April 2, 2013) -- In answer to the call during this Year of Faith to promote special devotion to Mary, the Mother of God, Saint Luke Productions has just released the “Year of Faith Rosary” - a new audio meditation for radio and the web. Taking it one step further, Saint Luke Productions has also answered many longtime requests by creating a Spanish version of the rosary.

Featuring the lead voice of acclaimed actor and founder of Saint Luke Productions, Leonardo Defilippis, the Year of Faith Rosary is available online for download, and for domestic and international distribution to radio stations, dioceses, churches and organizations completely free of charge. The Spanish version offers the lead voice of Jesus Gomez and is now also available for distribution and download.

Both English and Spanish versions can be downloaded at Saint Luke Productions at http://www.stlukeproductions.com/rosary. In addition, visitors to the website can simply click and pray the rosary and learn more about this project.

“The idea for this rosary came about when the Year of Faith was announced. I found myself examining the virtue of Faith and the ways I practice it in my own life. The rosary has had a profound effect on me, and in fact, it was the impetus for my return to my Catholic faith,” said Defilippis. “Because of my deep love for the rosary, I wanted to create a unique resource for the Church – an artistic tool for prayer during this special year.”

Complete with Imprimatur (an official approval by the Church) and an original musical score, the meditations for the rosary were written by Marian Priest, Monsignor Charles Mangan of the Diocese of Sioux Falls.

He has high praise for Saint Luke Productions’ newest project: "This audio recording of the Twenty Mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary inspires prayer. To hear those youthful voices invoke Our Blessed Lady moves the heart to love and serve this Mother and her Divine Son ever more faithfully."

This latest audio production springs from the enthusiastic response to their popular radio and web series “Benedictus Moments” which is heard daily on more than 40 radio networks and offers brief reflections from the writings of Benedict XVI.

“In a culture which is growing increasingly secular, there is an unrelenting temptation for all of us to try to control of every part of our lives. The “Year of Faith Rosary” gives us a gentle opportunity to surrender to God,” said Defilippis, “I thought to myself, why not engage the aid of our loving Mother, Mary the Mother of God, who, by her example, can teach us much about the virtue of Faith?”

Radio stations, dioceses, and organizations interested in information regarding the no-cost distribution of the “Year of Faith Rosary” in English or Spanish, are invited to contact Saint Luke Productions at 360-687-8029 or distribution@stlukeproductions.com and visit www.stlukeproductions.com.
