WATERTOWN, MA (August 12, 2011) - Starting August 12th, the CatholicTV Network began offering live streaming on the iPad. Accessing the programs is as simple as going to CatholicTV.com on an iPad or iPhone.

CatholicTV has increased the mobility of its award-winning programs a priority for 2011 in support of Pope Benedict XVI’s invitation to share the Good News through all means. President of the CatholicTV Network, Fr. Robert Reed said "So many people expect their mobile devices to serve them well. I am personally thrilled not only for myself but for so many of our viewers that we can now watch and enjoy CatholicTV.com on an iPhone or iPad or Android device." Executive Vice President Jay Fadden said of the increased availability “It is important to CatholicTV to be available in all social media platforms. The message of Christ cannot be contained and needs to be shared in every available way.”

Over the past twelve months CatholicTV has expanded it’s offerings on the nation-wide Verizon FiOS on-demand platform, increased the number of videos available on CatholicTV.com and established an online interactive community called iCatholic.
