President of the CatholicTV Network to Speak at Legatus Conference

WATERTOWN, MA (July 26, 2011) - Father Robert Reed, President of the CatholicTV Network is a featured presenter at the New Orleans chapter meeting of Legatus.
His presentation is called "Ambassadors for Christ in the Digital Age". The goal of Catholic media is to remain in the spirit and serve with the courage of St. Paul and Blessed John Paul II, using every form of media well, to bring our excitement for the Gospel to everyone.
Father Reed is a well-known and sought-after speaker on the role of faith and religious programming in television and new media. Recently he has presented at the Catholic New Media Celebration, God's Children Now - Family Rosary Retreat and the St. Louis Eucharistic Congress.
Ordained in 1985 Father Robert Reed has long entertained a keen interest in the full use of television and new media for an effective, entertaining and truthful sharing of Catholic Faith and life. A priest of the Archdiocese of Boston and the President of the CatholicTV® Network, Father Reed was born in Boston and currently lives in the historic West End of the city. He was educated at St. John's Preparatory School and he prepared for the priesthood at St. John Seminary College and the Pontifical North American College in Rome. Father Reed also studied Broadcast Administration at Boston University's School of Communication.
