Obianuju Ekeocha: Africa and the Totalitarian Approach of the Almighty Social Engineers

Africans should be alarmed at this point in our post-colonial history. We are seeing long standing universal morals and values being redefined by the wealthiest and most powerful nations in the world who are somehow able to push for the right to kill unborn babies on the same page as the right to homosexual marriage. To them a free woman is one who can decide to kill her own child before birth and a free adult is one who can form a family unit with a person of the same sex.

LONDON, England (Catholic Online) - Back in December, I wrote to inform my readers concerning the courageous MP's of Uganda overwhelmingly voted for a bill to stop or at least keep at bay in their country the worldwide push of the LGBT propaganda.

As a follow-up update on that, the Ugandan President Museveni has not yet signed that bill into law, no surprise there given the incredible amounts of pressure from some of the most powerful leaders in the world. Up till now, the President of Uganda is still to decide on this bill amidst so much pressure. BBC has reported today that President Obama has warned Museveni not to sign the bill.

According to the report:

The US is one of Uganda's largest foreign aid donors, and in 2011 a small number of American troops were sent to help the Ugandan military fight the rebel Lord's Resistance Army. But President Obama, who once referred to the proposed law as "odious", says this relationship will become more complicated if it is approved, describing it as an affront, and a danger to, Uganda's gay community. America's National Security Adviser, Susan Rice, said on Twitter that she spoke at length with the Ugandan President Museveni on Saturday night to urge him not to sign the bill.

Also on the 5th of February 2014, the United Kingdom House of Commons made a very strong (and almost colonial) warning statement towards this bill. Here is the statement of a former colonial master who is able to act very much "superior" to Africa:

"That this House calls on President Yoweri Museveni to return the Ugandan Anti-Homosexuality Bill to parliament with the amendments proposed by Sexual Minorities Uganda's recent report, that is to amend sexual offenses laws to make them gender neutral, to ensure a system of mandated reporting of all forms of suspected child abuse should be implemented, to address risk factors associated with all forms of child exploitation and abuse and to prevent discriminatory access to health laws; and further calls on the Government, if the Bill passes unamended, to consider which sanctions would be appropriate to impose on the Ugandan government, including travel bans on the promoters of this legislation and redirecting development assistance from Ugandan government-associated schemes to civil society organizations which support values consistent with the constitution of Uganda, the Commonwealth Charter and the African Charter on Human and People's Rights which enshrines the right to freedom from discrimination."

Now, on behalf of Culture of Life Africa, I write to express my deep concern - and I urge others to do the same.

They show little or no concern for the children who would end up with 2 mums and possibly 4 grandmothers someday. They have little or no patience for cultures and religions that have moral objections to this new amorphous family structure that defies natural law in human sexuality. They have little or no thoughts on the social disintegration that is bound to follow in this new world where sexual immorality is given free reins. They show little or no considerations for the hundreds of thousands of polygamous and polyamourous men and women who may someday emerge from around the world to demand their own sexual "rights".

They pay little or no mind at all to the inevitable maximum exploitation that will come upon women through surrogacy and men through sperm donations. Yes, someone is going to have to provide the womb for male couples who want to start a family of their own and someone is going to have to provide the seed for the lesbian couples who crave motherhood - nature is very insistent on that! Bring all these into the material poverty of Africa and there will be the collapse of our civilization and the complete deletion of our African culture.

Our world is brutally being reshaped by those who place sexual pleasure before the common good and the "right" to sex before the Right to Life. Their plans and policies are causing great destruction of human life, faith, family. So it brings bitter tears to my eyes every time I realize that Africa is not allowed to protect her children from the ruthless hammer of these Social Engineers!
