Wheaton College, an evangelical institution, has suffered a setback in their effort to protect themselves from the Obama contraception edict. A judge has ruled their lawsuit against the edict to be "premature."

CHICAGO, IL (Catholic Online) - The edict requires all institutions, including Christian establishments, to provide free contraceptive health coverage to women on demand. The college and many other Christian organizations have said the edict violates their First Amendment rights to freedom of religion and conscience.

The college is presently enjoying a one-year reprieve from compliance, but will be expected to provide the coverage next February.

The college plans to bring the suit repeatedly until it is heard.
