Saint Biography

Martyr of Tarsus, Turkey. His tomb became a popular pilgrimage destination, and a basilica was erected in his honor in Constantinople.

Pope (c. 174-189). The Liber Pontificalis says that he was a native of Nicopolis, Greece.
